Honestly, when I first walked into this place on Kaiserin-Augusta-Allee, I wasn't expecting much from the courtyard entrance – you know how those inner Berlin courtyards can be hit or miss. But wow, once you get up to Aufgang II, this loft is actually incredible. We're talking 200 square meters of genuine space, not that cramped "spacious" nonsense you usually get in Berlin. The ceilings are properly high, and there's this wonderful flow between rooms that makes it feel even bigger than it is.
What really got me was the river aspect – and I mean, you can actually see and hear the Spree from the windows, which is rare in Mitte without paying absolute fortune prices. The location is sort of perfect if you think about it: you're right in the heart of everything but tucked away enough that you're not dealing with the Hackescher Markt tourist chaos. I could walk to Museum Island in about fifteen minutes, and Hauptbahnhof is close enough that arriving with luggage wasn't the usual Berlin nightmare. The neighborhood has that authentic local feel too – there's a proper bakery around the corner where actual Berliners grab their morning coffee, not just another tourist trap.
The loft itself feels like someone's actual home rather than a sterile hotel room, which I really appreciated. The kitchen is fully equipped (I mean really equipped – good knives, proper pans, even a decent coffee machine), and there's enough seating for a group without everyone cramming onto one tiny sofa. The bedrooms are well thought out too – they actually have proper blackout curtains, which anyone who's tried to sleep during Berlin's endless summer evenings will appreciate. One small thing that impressed me: the water pressure in the shower is fantastic, which honestly can be a gamble in these older Berlin buildings. The WiFi worked perfectly throughout, even when we had multiple people streaming and working simultaneously.
I will say the courtyard can get a bit echoey in the early mornings – not terrible, but you'll hear neighbors heading out for work. Also, if you're planning to drive, parking in this area is... well, it's Berlin, so good luck with that. But the public transport connections are solid, and honestly, once you're settled in, you won't want to leave anyway. The whole setup just works really well for groups – we had six people staying comfortably, and there was still room to breathe. At an 8.4 rating, it's clearly hitting the mark for most visitors, and I can see why. It's one of those places that makes you feel like you're living in Berlin rather than just visiting it.

If you're planning a trip to Berlin with a group of 13 friends, LOFT is the place to stay! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in good hands. We got there way before check-in, but Alex was quick to provide a solution so we could leave our luggage and begin enjoying our weekend right away. Finding the LOFT, the luggage storage spot, and even the key pick-up was a breeze, thanks to Alex's clear and thorough instructions, complete with text and images. Once we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted with slippers for everyone, a thoughtful touch. The space was beautifully designed and incredibly spacious, with three rooms that comfortably accommodated all of us. The large dining table near the kitchen was perfect for our group’s "last supper." The living room was a standout, featuring a swing surrounded by sofas and a massive window with breathtaking views of the river. We were also impressed by the two bathrooms, each with a toilet, shower, and sink, which made getting ready and freshening up easy for everyone. The location was super convenient, with an Aldi just a 5-minute walk away. It was perfect for picking up groceries and supplies, so we never had to worry about running out of anything. One unexpected but awesome bonus was the quality of the boiler. Even after 13 showers, there was still plenty of hot water for anyone who needed it. The kitchen, though small, was fully equipped and made it easy for us to cook meals when we didn’t feel like going out. We also appreciated the ample cleaning supplies. Each bed had its own socket, and the rooms were well-ventilated, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, our experience at LOFT was amazing, and thanks to Alex, we're already thinking about coming back.

We hebben een prima tijd in de loft gehad. Het is een leuke, ruime, plek met alle faciliteiten. We waren er met z'n vieren maar het is ruim genoeg voor een grotere groep vrienden of familie. Alex, de host was er bij aankomst en was daarna prima bereikbaar. We werden door hem ook uitgenodigd voor events op het terrein. Leuk!!

По отношение на хигиената има какво още да се желае. За децата беше шок липсата на телевизор и телевизия.

L’appartement est idéal pour un groupe, les lits sont confortables, il y a de la place La cuisine est très bien équipée, et le salon est parfait pour accueillir du monde (nous étions 17). La vue sur la Spree est juste parfaite
Loft mit Atmosphäre
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der frisch renovierten Loft! Das Design ist nicht nur gemütlich, sondern auch sehr kreativ und einladend. Als Familie hatten wir alles, was wir an Ausstattung benötigten. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir von dem aufmerksamen Service: Als wir einen großen Topf für ein Abendessen brauchten, war das Team von Alexei sofort zur Stelle. Die Loft bietet eine fantastische Atmosphäre mit viel Licht, frischer Luft, Blick auf den Fluss und einem großen Esstisch, an dem alle bequem Platz fanden. Die Sauberkeit war hervorragend – die Bettwäsche war frisch und die Matratzen sehr bequem, sodass wir alle wunderbar geschlafen haben. Morgens haben wir in einem nahegelegenen Bistro gefrühstückt, das hausgemachte Köstlichkeiten anbietet – ein toller Tipp! Vielen Dank an Alexei und sein Team für diesen großartigen Aufenthalt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen!

Einladend - Wohltuend - Gechillt
Im Wohnzimmer gab es ein großes Fenster mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Spree. Außerdem gab es Kartenspiele, Jenga, eine Schaukel und sogar einen Projektor, mit dem man Filme oder Videos ansehen konnte. Wir waren mit 15 Personen dort untergebracht und es war wirklich ausreichend Platz für alle. Die Wohnung ist ideal für Gruppen, die ein paar schöne Tage in Berlin verbringen möchten und das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist sehr gut!
Ich bin wirklich enttäuscht und würde diese Unterkunft unter keinen Umständen weiterempfehlen.

Leider absolut enttäuschend – nicht empfehlenswert. Ich hatte große Erwartungen an das 200qm Loft in Berlin – immerhin klang es auf den ersten Blick vielversprechend: großzügiger Raum in guter Lage. Doch was mich vor Ort erwartete, war schlichtweg unzumutbar. Ja, das Loft ist groß, aber das war auch schon das einzig Positive. Der Zustand der Unterkunft ist völlig veraltet und inakzeptabel. Hygiene? Fehlanzeige! Bereits beim Betreten fiel auf, dass hier offensichtlich nur sehr oberflächlich gereinigt wurde – wenn überhaupt. Die Toiletten waren ohne Klodeckel und innen deutlich schwarz verfärbt, eins war sogar undicht – absolut unhygienisch. In der gesamten Unterkunft fanden sich Spinnweben, und in der Dusche waren rote Ablagerungen zu sehen, die sich mit etwas Mühe definitiv hätten vermeiden lassen. Die Küche war eine Zumutung: Das Geschirr war dreckig und musste komplett noch einmal gespült werden. Der Backofen funktionierte nicht richtig – sehr frustrierend, wenn man plant, selbst zu kochen. Die Betten im Mehrbettzimmer hatten eine leichte Schräglage nach außen und die Liegefläche war wahrscheinlich mal eine Tür oder der Deckel eine Truhe. Dass der Check-in erst ab 17 Uhr möglich ist, kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen – besonders, wenn es dann aussieht, als wäre seit Tagen nicht sauber gemacht worden. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überhaupt nicht. Für den aufgerufenen Preis erwarte ich keine Luxusausstattung, aber zumindest Sauberkeit und funktionierende Ausstattung.
