3 Bedroom Apartment (ACELI)
About
Honestly, when I first saw the address on Perleberger Straße, I wasn't sure what to expect – it's one of those Berlin streets that feels residential but surprises you. The ACELI apartment sits right in that sweet spot where Mitte starts feeling less touristy and more like actual Berlin, you know? Three bedrooms might sound ambitious for most travelers, but I actually found myself using all that space, spreading out my stuff and really settling in rather than living out of a suitcase.
The building itself has that solid Berlin character – not fancy, but well-maintained in that no-nonsense German way. What struck me right away was how quiet it gets at night, which is pretty remarkable considering you're walking distance from both Wedding and the livelier parts of Mitte. The apartment feels properly lived-in (in a good way), with little touches that make it clear someone actually thought about what travelers need. I mean, there are enough power outlets, the wifi actually works where you need it, and – this might sound small – but the shower has proper water pressure. You'd be surprised how often that's not the case in Berlin apartments.
Location-wise, you're about a fifteen-minute walk to Naturkundemuseum U-Bahn station, which puts you on the U6 line straight down to Friedrichstraße or up to Wedding if you want to explore beyond the obvious spots. There's a decent Edeka just around the corner on Stromstraße, and honestly, grocery shopping in Berlin is half the fun of staying somewhere with a proper kitchen. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel – you'll see locals walking their dogs in the morning, kids heading to school, that sort of everyday Berlin life that makes you feel less like a tourist. I found myself grabbing coffee at this little spot on Reinickendorfer Straße that definitely doesn't cater to visitors, which felt like a small victory. The 7.9 rating seems about right – it's not going to wow you with luxury touches, but everything works, it's clean, and the space genuinely makes sense for how people actually travel. I'd definitely stay here again, especially if I was planning one of those longer Berlin trips where you want to actually live somewhere rather than just crash between sightseeing.
Travelers should reserve a hotel in Berlin at least two months ahead of their visit to ensure availability and secure better rates, especially during the peak summer season when the city hosts numerous outdoor festivals and cultural events.

If spending a few days in Berlin would recommend.
Great location so close to the bus stop and easy to get a morning coffee. Yes there are stairs but the space on the apartment is worth the steps perfect for a family of 5 full of teenagers and young adults. Katja was an excellent meet and greet to hand over the key and was above and beyond with helping with a suitcase issue. Would recommend.

Very nice and spacious apartment in a quiet neighborhood with excellent connections and amenities
Spacious, all amenities accounted for. Comfortable beds, washing machine, dishwasher.
TV was not useable (no Chromecast or cable tv). The building itself is a bit rough.
It was great
The best were very comfortable and the hosts were fast to respond
The neighboor was very sensitive to sound
Good value for money, good location
Good beds, nice location, high ceilings.
Only one bathroom for 7 guys is not really comfortable.
Good
Beautiful house, big spaces, perfect for a stay with friends or big family
the walls and floors are very thin which meant that we could hear the neighbours as much as they could hear us, so we got a couple of noise complaints at 8/9pm when we walked a bit more loudly or opened a sofa bed in one the rooms. If felt like we couldn't live in our own space.
Superb
We arrived late (around 11pm in the evening), but it was easy to organize collecting the keys with the staff. Communication worked well. There is a cash tip for late check-in, but that was also well communicated.
As a frequent Bookung user i want to say that the final score is max 7,5
Apartment was not ready at agreed time of arrival. The serivce person was surprised about time we came and was trying to convince us that we should be 3 hours later
We enjoyed our stay.
The apartment was big and had all the features you would expect. Good value for the money having 3 rooms. The neighborhood had plenty of transportation options and good small stores nearby.
The apartment had some smell like cigarette smoke although they said it wasn’t permitted. some febreze and room fresheners helped. Wooden floors creaked in some places, we hope this didn’t bother our neighbors.
Good
The only good thing was comfortable and large beds, the apartment was spacious.
The apartment was in an old house with little parking space for auto. It's good that it was a weekend, therefore we found a free parking space. Otherwise everything costs. The apartment was noisy, as you could hear, when everybody gets home:) It seemed as if people are walking in your room:) There were no soap or shampoos in the apartment, the same with coffee or tea... you should bring everything with you:)
Spacious rooms
It was a very spacious place in a cool neighbourhood.
