Look, I've stayed in a lot of Berlin apartments over the years, and honestly? Be in Berlin Apartments absolutely nails what you actually want when you're exploring this city. The location on Bergmannstraße is just – well, it's perfect if you want to feel like you're living in Berlin rather than just visiting it. You're right in the heart of Bergmannkiez, which means you'll wake up to the sound of locals heading to work instead of tour groups, and trust me, that makes all the difference.
The apartments themselves feel lived-in in the best possible way. I mean, they're clean and modern, but they haven't stripped away all the character that makes Berlin apartments so appealing. High ceilings, those gorgeous old windows that actually open properly (you know how rare that is), and kitchens that are actually functional – not just a hot plate shoved in a corner. The beds are genuinely comfortable too, which honestly surprised me because apartment rentals can be hit or miss on that front. What really got me was the little touches – proper coffee cups instead of those tiny hotel ones, decent wifi that doesn't cut out every ten minutes, and enough space to actually unpack your suitcase without living out of it for a week.
But here's the thing that really sets this place apart: the neighborhood knowledge you get just by being there. You're a two-minute walk from Marheineke Markthalle, where locals actually shop (the Saturday market is incredible if you're into that sort of thing), and you're close enough to walk to Kreuzberg's best bars and restaurants without needing to figure out the U-Bahn every single night. Bergmannstraße itself has this great mix of cafes and shops that haven't been completely touristified yet – though honestly, that's changing faster than I'd like. The park at Viktoriapark is close enough for morning runs if that's your thing, and you can easily walk to Potsdamer Platz when you need your dose of modern Berlin. Parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you're driving (street parking requires some patience), but most people don't need a car when you're this centrally located. The only real downside I noticed was that weekend nights can get a bit lively – but that's Kreuzberg for you, and if you're staying here, you probably knew what you were signing up for.

Excellent stay, wonderful and communicative hosts, needs a little freshing up to make it superb!!
The apartment was everything the pictures showed. It was spacious and modern. It had very modern appliances (I had to learn how to use them since I don´t have so much techonolgy at home). The hosts were wonderful, very communicative, available if needed eventhough we did not need to contact them during the stay since everything was pretty much explained in the guest's book. The front room was noisy, but the back rooms were very quiet. Beds were very comfortable and the sheets new and clean. The garden looks wonderful! I bet in srping and summer it must blossom beautifully. The dining room table and chairs are beautiful and comfortable! It was nice to get together once we finished visiting the town and prepare a meal together there. The supermarkets across the street and the dm on the same block are great!!! The location in general was wonderful, we had to use public transport and it was very convenient to bus and U. The house was warm, we had to lift the curtains onto the window sill since they were covering the radiators, but then it was fine.
The apartment is accesible through a front patio and this was pretty dirty most of the times. The waste bins are in the archway on the way to the apartment and they were filled to the brim all the time, smelly and messy. The cleaning was good, however there were little details to make it perfect! I know big houses are tough to maintain, so I understand. Everything looked great, I just would like to point out three things for the hosts to take care of to make it perfect! 1) The breakfast high table in the kitchen was barely placed on the screws that held it in place. Those screws need to be fixed to hold the table sacurely again. This is important since the table does not hold! 2) The shower lost the knob to adjust the handle on the top of the pole so the shower handle was down at waist level. We had to tie it down with plastic seals to be able to hold it at a higher level. It worked perfectly well. 3) The roller curtain on the right in the kitchen was broken, the chain to put it down and up was out of place in the wheel. My husband fixed it, and now works fine! ;)

Excellent location, really comfortable beds, lovely apartment that felt safe and like home. Perfect stay in Berlin for our family of five.
The location is perfect for exploring Berlin. The neighborhood is lively and feels very safe (even coming back at night)
Lovely apartment in the best location. Hosts are friendly and responsive. It was very nice to have 3 bedrooms so that each kid (a preteen and teenager) could have their own space. Loved having access to a clothes washing machine.
Towels are small and there is only 1 pillow per person (probably normal for EU but not in USA so this is really just a heads up for Americans).

Nice place for business trips
Looks like new flat. Very clean. Welcome coffee was nice touch. Location was great and self checkin instructions were clear. Place was cosy with everything you need inside.
One room is too close to building entry and can be very loud at evening or early mornings, even with just people entering or leaving the building.
