bevoflats – Designer Apartments in Kreuzberg, Bergmannkiez
About
Look, I've stayed in a lot of Berlin apartments over the years, and bevoflats honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. When you're walking down Solmsstraße (which, let me tell you, is perfectly positioned in the heart of Bergmannkiez), you might almost miss the entrance because it blends so seamlessly with the neighborhood's authentic Kreuzberg vibe. But once you're inside? It's like someone took all the cool, industrial-chic elements that make this area special and actually made them livable.
The apartments themselves feel like they were designed by someone who actually understands how people travel these days. I mean, you've got proper kitchen setups – not those sad little hotplate situations you usually find – and the beds are honestly some of the most comfortable I've encountered in Berlin. What really got me was the attention to detail though. The lighting hits just right in the evenings, there's actual storage space (revolutionary concept, I know), and the WiFi doesn't cut out every time someone in the building starts streaming Netflix. The whole place has this effortless modern feel without being sterile, you know? It's got character but won't leave you wrestling with quirky German plumbing at 2 AM.
But here's what makes this place actually special – the location is absolutely killer. You're a two-minute walk from Bergmannstraße, which means you've got that perfect mix of local cafes, proper restaurants, and the kind of shops where Berliners actually hang out, not just tourists. Marheineke Markthalle is right there when you want fresh produce or just to people-watch over coffee, and honestly, being this close to Viktoriapark means you can escape the city buzz whenever you need to. The U-Bahn connections are solid too – you can get to Mitte or Prenzlauer Berg without that annoying transfer dance you usually have to do from Kreuzberg. I stayed here during both summer and a chilly October visit, and the neighborhood has this lived-in energy year-round that a lot of Berlin areas just don't maintain. Plus, and this might sound weird, but the sound insulation is actually decent – rare for these old Kreuzberg buildings – so you get the neighborhood atmosphere without the 3 AM street party soundtrack.

Exceptional
The apartment was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The area was really nice. Plus, it’s just a short walk from Columbiahalle, which is perfect if you’re in town for a concert.
I would definitely stay here again!
The flat was super spacious and cozy. There was good heating and a big bathtub, as well as basic amenities like an ironing board. The location was excellent and the staff was very responsive when there was a small issue with a broken lightbulb. I loved staying here!

Very helpful host! The code for the key box was wrong but after only 10 min the host was there to help us. Good area, walking distance to nice restaurants and subway.

Everything is great! The apartment is amazing
Lovely apartment in a lovely location with all you would need for a short stay.
The apartment is very nice. The decor is well done, there is a full kitchen, nice bathroom, and beautiful flooring! It is located in an excellent spot right in the heart of Kreuzberg, close to many transit options and walkable to many excellent restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, and sites to visit.
It is a basement. There are plenty of windows which give natural light, but one of them opens up to street level so its not ideal to leave that one open. The place is still quite comfortable and stays cool in the summer.
Great flat in a great location
Loads of space, great location , clean and in great condition
The WiFi wasn’t working and the sofa bed wasn’t super comfy

I didn't like the small of the cigarettes that was in the apartment, this is the only thing I can say that the host need to approve.
