greet Berlin Alexanderplatz
About
You know what? The greet Berlin Alexanderplatz caught me off guard in the best possible way. I'll be honest - when I first walked up to this 3-star spot, I wasn't expecting much beyond the usual budget hotel experience. But there's something refreshingly straightforward about this place that actually works really well, especially if you're the type of traveler who wants to spend your time exploring Berlin rather than hanging around your hotel room.
The location is honestly pretty brilliant if you think about it. You're literally steps from Alexanderplatz, which means the TV Tower is right there (you can't miss it), and you've got every train line you could possibly need within a 2-minute walk. I mean, the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, trams - it's all right there. What I really appreciated though was how this puts you in the thick of former East Berlin without feeling touristy. You'll hear actual Berliners going about their day, not just other tourists taking selfies. The area can get a bit hectic during rush hour - Alexanderplatz is basically Berlin's Times Square - but honestly, that energy is part of what makes staying here interesting.
The hotel itself has this clean, modern vibe that feels deliberately unfussy. The rooms are compact but thoughtfully designed, and I actually loved how quiet it was considering you're in such a central spot. Check-in was smooth, staff spoke great English, and the whole place just felt... well, efficient in that distinctly German way. What really sold me was stepping out in the morning and being able to grab coffee from one of the little stands near Alex, then hop on the U2 to Prenzlauer Berg or walk to Museum Island in about 15 minutes. You're also super close to Hackescher Markt, which is where a lot of the good restaurants and bars are hiding. The 7.7 rating makes total sense to me - it's not trying to be fancy, but it nails the basics and the location is genuinely unbeatable for the price point.

Friendly staff, nice breakfast, great location with walk in access to train station and heritages
Location is perfect
The staff were helpful, the breakfast although simple was good.
Easy to find, close to amenities, clean and warm
Great location, close to transport and shops. Tasty breakfast. Very nice staff. I also liked the pro eco idea of giving up every day cleaning for hot drinks. Really appreciated after long winter walk.
Very conveniently located near Aleksandar Platz station . Friendly staff, terrific breakfast !
The location and its proximity to the center were great; everything was easily accessible. It’s definitely a good choice for being in the city.
Excellent location. Alexanderplatz appears to be a main transport hub in Berlin, easily accessible from the main airport and the hotel is a short walk from one of the many exits. You can get pretty much anywhere in the city from Alexanderplatz very easily and quickly so this is great value for money given how easily you can get around Berlin. The room was a good size, comfortable with nice extras like a good TV, nice furniture and lots of available, easy accessible plug sockets which doesn't seem like much until you don't have them. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout.
the location is great if you want to stay in central Berlin. Breakfast was good. Ideal for a short stay.
Property was close to Alexanderplatz, shops and train station. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with pancakes, bread, muffins and others. There was a lift but there were a couple of steps before one can access it. Also they made our room. On check out, we could leave our baggages at the reception. Although they were not left in a room but next to the reception desk, we felt the baggages were secure because they gave us a code that we have to show upon collection and there was always staff at the reception.
