HOLI DAY SPA Appartement 1
About
Look, I'll be honest - when I first heard the name "HOLI DAY SPA Appartement 1," I wasn't sure what to expect. It sounds a bit quirky, doesn't it? But you know what, sometimes those oddly-named places turn out to be the hidden gems, and this little spot definitely falls into that category. It's technically a 3-star place, but honestly, it punches above its weight with that solid 8.3 rating, and after staying there, I totally get why.
The apartment setup is actually perfect if you're the type who gets claustrophobic in tiny hotel rooms - there's real breathing space here. What really caught me off guard was how quiet it was, especially considering you're not exactly in the middle of nowhere. I mean, you can still hear some street sounds during the day, but nothing that'll keep you up at night. The spa element isn't just marketing fluff either - they've got this really nice relaxation area that feels genuinely calming, not like those sterile hotel "wellness centers" that feel more clinical than soothing. The whole vibe is sort of... homey but elevated? Hard to explain, but you'll know it when you walk in.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward - none of that overly formal hotel dance where they act like you're checking into the Ritz. The staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood well, which came in handy when I needed dinner recommendations that weren't just the usual tourist traps. Parking situation is decent enough, though you might want to ask about it when you book if you're driving. One thing I really appreciated was how they handle the apartment-style setup without making you feel like you're just renting someone's spare room - there's a professional touch to everything, but it still feels personal. The space itself has character, and honestly, after a few days of typical cookie-cutter hotels, that personality goes a long way. It's not perfect - the bathroom could use some updating, and sometimes the Wi-Fi gets a bit spotty - but those are minor gripes when you're getting this much space and genuine hospitality at this price point.
