I mean, when you're used to cramming into those tiny European hotel boxes, walking into a proper apartment-style setup on Friedrichstraße feels like winning the accommodation lottery.

The location is honestly pretty brilliant if you know Berlin at all. Friedrichstraße runs right through the heart of everything – you're basically sandwiched between Mitte and Kreuzberg, which means you can stumble to Museum Island in one direction or hit the alternative scene in the other without breaking a sweat. The river reference in the name makes sense once you're there; you're close enough to the Spree that evening walks become this natural thing you just start doing.
