Hotel Morgenland is more about being a really solid home base while you explore. The neighborhood gets pretty quiet after 9 PM, which is either perfect or boring depending on what you're after. I found it peaceful, especially since I could still hear a bit of life from the main street without any of that obnoxious late-night noise. Check-in was smooth, parking is available (though it fills up during peak season, so call ahead), and they've got this little breakfast setup that's simple but fresh – good coffee, local pastries, nothing fancy but it gets the job done. The 8.0 rating makes total sense to me because this place delivers exactly what it promises without any pretense. It's not trying to be something it's not, and in a world full of hotels that oversell and underdeliver, that's actually pretty refreshing.
