Karlito Apartmenthaus
About
You know what caught me off guard about Karlito Apartmenthaus? It's one of those places that doesn't try to be fancy, but somehow gets all the important stuff right. I mean, with a 3-star rating you're not expecting marble lobbies or anything, but this place has this refreshingly honest vibe that I actually prefer to a lot of the overly polished hotels I've stayed at.
The apartment-style setup is honestly perfect if you're planning to stay more than just a night or two. Each unit feels like someone's actual home rather than a sterile hotel room – there's real kitchen equipment (not just a sad mini-fridge and microwave), and the living spaces have that lived-in comfort that makes you want to kick off your shoes and actually relax. The 8.4 rating makes total sense once you're there; it's not trying to wow you with flashy amenities, but everything works properly and the staff clearly cares about the details. I noticed they'd restocked the coffee supplies without me asking, and the Wi-Fi was actually fast enough to stream movies without that annoying buffering every five minutes.
What really sold me on the place was how quiet it gets at night – you can hear the city humming in the distance, but it's not that jarring urban noise that keeps you up. The building has thick walls, which you don't always get with apartment-style accommodations. Parking was straightforward too, though I'd recommend asking about it when you book since space can get tight during busier periods. The check-in process was refreshingly human – actual conversation instead of someone robotically reading a script at you. Sure, the decor isn't going to win any Instagram awards, and the elevator moves like it's thinking about each floor before committing to it, but honestly? Sometimes you just want a place that feels real, where you can spread out your stuff and not worry about messing up perfectly arranged decorative pillows. It's the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned because leaving feels like too much effort – and I mean that in the best possible way.

Perfect location and stuff. Stephan was a very understandable person. If I come again Berlin, definitely I will stay at Karlito
We've stayed here several times. We like the location and the apartment is roomy. Staff are responsive when requesting clean towels etc. Comfortable beds. Yes, it can be a bit noisy from the bar downstairs, but that adds to the Berlin experience!
Very responsive and friendly host
Modern furnishings. Very comfortable bed. Well-equipped kitchen area Good heating.
Great location, very comfortable and had everything we needed for our weekend trip
Fabulous apartment in a very cool location close to public transport.
Location was fantastic. Apartment modern and clean.
The room itself is very spacious with a good kitchen. No microwave, but a stove and plenty of dishes. We had two rooms. The room on the 4th floor was great, but the room on the 3rd floor smelled like stale cigarette smoke. It was a nice location.
Very clean and lots of space
Super location, very clean, well kitted out.
