numa l Sketch Rooms & Apartments
About
You know what caught me off guard about numa l Sketch Rooms & Apartments? The name makes it sound like some artsy concept hotel, but it's actually way more practical than pretentious. I mean, there's definitely a design element going on – the sketched artwork throughout the common areas is pretty cool – but it doesn't feel like they're trying too hard to be hip, if that makes sense.
The apartment-style setup is honestly perfect if you're staying more than a couple nights. I had a studio with a little kitchenette that was surprisingly well-equipped (they even had decent coffee pods, which you can't always count on). The rooms feel more like temporary apartments than hotel rooms, which sounds obvious given the name, but you'd be surprised how many "apartment hotels" still feel institutional. These don't. The furniture's modern without being uncomfortable, and there's actually enough storage space – something I always notice because I'm a chronic overpacker. Check-in was pretty smooth too, though they use those digital key systems that take a minute to figure out if you're not used to them.
What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night. The building seems well-insulated, and maybe it's the neighborhood or just good luck with neighbors, but I slept really well. The 4-star rating feels about right – it's definitely polished and professional, but not stuffy. You'll find little touches that show they're paying attention, like the lighting actually being warm and pleasant instead of those harsh hotel bulbs, and the shower pressure was solid. The 8.3 rating online tracks with my experience – it's reliably good without being extraordinary. Honestly, that's exactly what you want sometimes. No unpleasant surprises, no having to manage around weird quirks or broken amenities. Just a well-run place where you can settle in and get on with whatever brought you to town. If you're the type who likes having your own space to spread out a bit, especially for longer stays, this place gets it right.

Everything was on point. Met or even exceeded expectations.
I liked that getting into the hotel room required no interaction with people at all. All the instructions were good, and overall everything was nice except for two things (see the "didn't like" section). The design and vibe are cool, the location is excellent!
Easy check in and out The room was spacious, warm and the mattress and pillows super comfortable. There is a kitchen with amenities to cook Good location with plenty of restaurants and bars around.
Simple digital check-in, super comfy bed.

The check-in and check-out process was so easy! It makes a nice change to stay somewhere with big windows that open up for airflow. The hotel is in a fantastic location within minutes of some fantastic restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.
