stadtRaum-berlin apartments
About
Look, I'll be honest – when I first heard about stadtRaum-berlin apartments, I thought it was just another generic apartment rental situation. But after staying at a couple of their locations in Pankow, I actually get why they're pulling a 9 rating. These aren't your typical cookie-cutter serviced apartments.
What struck me right away is how they've scattered these places throughout different spots in Pankow, which is honestly brilliant. You're not stuck in some touristy bubble – you're actually living in Berlin for a few days. The neighborhood has this great mix of young families and artists, and you know what? It feels real. I stayed near Florastraße once, and there's this little Turkish bakery around the corner that locals line up at every morning around 7 AM. The smell of fresh simit just drifts down the street. Another time I was closer to the S-Bahn station (super handy for getting into Mitte, by the way), and I could hear the gentle rumble of trains in the distance – not annoying, just... city sounds that somehow helped me sleep better.
The apartments themselves are what I'd call "thoughtfully minimal." Clean lines, good lighting, and – this matters more than you'd think – really solid Wi-Fi. The kitchens are actually functional, not just there for show, with proper coffee makers and enough counter space to spread out if you're the type who picks up ingredients at the weekly markets. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, none of that awkward lobby hovering you get at hotels. The staff seems to understand that people staying here want to feel settled, not like they're passing through. I mean, they've clearly put thought into the little things – decent hangers, outlets where you actually need them, blackout curtains that work. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on which location you get, but honestly, that's just Berlin. You'll probably end up walking or taking the S-Bahn anyway, which connects you to the rest of the city in about 20 minutes.
What really sold me is how these places capture that Berlin vibe without trying too hard. Pankow has this laid-back energy – it's not as hectic as Kreuzberg or as polished as Charlottenburg, but it's got character. You'll find yourself grabbing coffee at corner cafés where the barista remembers your order by day three, or discovering those hidden courtyards that Berlin does so well. The 4-star rating feels right – it's comfortable and well-maintained without being stuffy. And honestly, for the price point and the experience of actually living in a Berlin neighborhood rather than just visiting it, stadtRaum has figured something out that a lot of places miss.

Overall, the accommodation was great
All the essentials and basic facilities were provided fridge, coffee machine, stove, working tv, etc. Also, the rooms were very comfy and clean.
The bathroom was a bit small, with a tiny sink.
everything exceeded our expectations
location is super
that we had to leave and go home
Highly recommend
Great apartment which had all the amenities you could need. Very close to the centre of town, easy to get around, lots of shops and food places around a great host too. Highly recommend
Excelente
The host came to greet us when we arrived and showedus the place, it was very spacious and well located, would be staying there any time i plan on visiting Berlin
Fantastic! I’d rebook this on my next visit to Berlin.
Everything! I am not exaggerating when I say that. To start with, Alex was a great host. He was so kind and patient as it took me a while to get to the location because it was my first time in Germany so I was figuring out public transit. Alex also gave me several fantastic local recommendations. 10/10! I also loved the location, near Eberswalderstraße (train station). Mauerpark nearby was a beautiful place to catch a sunset. I stayed in the “Marlene” and it was so cozy. Clean. Spacious for one, even two people.
I didn’t like that my trip to Berlin was so short. I wish I could have stayed longer! When I return, I’d definitely book here again. Just be mindful that there was no elevator, but Alex helped me with my luggage and I’m sure that is NOT part of his job description!
Exceptional
Great location and great communication. We stayed in the Audrey apartment and I would recommend
Everything you need and more!
Everything you need for a long or short stay! Very spacious and the kitchen supplied everything needed.
Nothing
The best apartment in Berlin
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at these Berlin apartments. The location is incredibly convenient. The apartment is just a short 2–3 minute walk to both a U-Bahn and a tram station. Whether you're arriving by plane or train, getting here from the Hauptbahnhof is super easy (and we were visiting Berlin for the first time). The apartment itself is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you might need. It truly felt like a home away from home. We visited during the colder months, and while I found the heating a bit warm, it was perfect for my wife, who’s not a fan of cold weather or cold apartments! (writing these for all the cold-sensitive people :D) We'll be returning to Berlin regularly for both work and leisure, and as long as this apartment is available, we won’t be looking anywhere else. Alex is a fantastic host: kind, helpful, and welcoming. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
Nothing. Perfect.
Wonderful, clean and cosy!
Everything was perfect. The apartment was super comfortable, warm, the bed was soft. The location was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.
I accidentally bought oven food without realising there was no oven. But there is a hob so I could still have cooked fine.
Great little apartment - perfect for a short visit.
Nice cosy little apartment in a nice bustling safe suburb of Berlin easily accessible to the trams and subway. 5 mins metro into the centre. Beds were comfortable and the facilities were more than adequate for our 5 night stay. The host met us with the keys and showed us to the apartment. There was also some free refreshments for us on arrival. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops locally.
Please note that the host had several apartments so we did end up with an alternative property to the advertised one. This didn't affect us but could be an issue or affect others. Bathroom main light wasn't working. Host was aware and is organising repair.
