Stylisch Apartments Berlin Mitte, group & family friendly, from 2 – 8 Guests
About
You know what struck me first about Stylisch Apartments? The building itself – it's tucked on Steinstraße in this perfect sweet spot where you get authentic Berlin Mitte vibes without the tourist circus that's taken over some other parts of the neighborhood. I mean, you're literally a five-minute walk from Rosenthaler Platz, but it feels like you've found this little pocket that the Instagram crowds haven't discovered yet.
The apartments themselves are honestly refreshing because they actually understand what groups need. I've stayed in plenty of places that claim to be "group friendly" but then give you one tiny bathroom and a kitchen the size of a closet. Here, they've clearly thought it through – the spaces breathe properly, even with six people. The kitchens are functional enough that you can actually cook breakfast without bumping into each other (which, let's be honest, saves you a fortune in Berlin's increasingly expensive café scene). What I really appreciated was how they've set up the bedrooms – you're not dealing with that awkward situation where someone gets stuck on a pullout couch in the living room while everyone else has proper beds.
The location is where this place really shines, though. Steinstraße puts you right in the thick of things without the noise – well, mostly. You'll hear some street life, but it's that good kind of Berlin urban hum, not drunk tourists at 3 AM. Hackescher Markt is maybe ten minutes on foot, and you've got the S-Bahn connections that make the whole city accessible. But here's what I loved: you're surrounded by the kind of local spots that make Berlin special. There's this incredible little Vietnamese place around the corner that locals queue up for, and honestly, some of the best coffee I had during my entire trip was from a tiny roastery just two blocks away. The grocery situation is solid too – there's a decent Edeka nearby, plus one of those Turkish corner shops that somehow has everything you forgot to pack.
The 8.3 rating feels about right to me. It's not luxury – the furnishings are modern but not fancy, and you might find yourself wishing for slightly better water pressure in the shower. But the value proposition is excellent, especially if you're splitting costs among friends or family. The check-in process was smooth (they use one of those keypad systems, which worked perfectly), and when we had a minor issue with the WiFi, someone actually responded quickly and fixed it. That kind of responsiveness matters when you're trying to coordinate plans with a group. I'd definitely stay here again, particularly in shoulder season when you can really take advantage of being so centrally located without fighting crowds everywhere you go.

Superb
Location is perfect. The entire unit and the bedroom is very spacey.
We had such a lovely time
Beautiful location, couldn’t be better
In a leafy residential area
Good
Great location. Susana who we met on arrival was very friendly.
The place overall looks a bit tired (apart from the bathroom). Lots of cracked tiles on the floors and the walls could do with a lick of paint. We had 2 TVs and neither worked. The blinds in the bathroom weren't long enough and wouldn't shut properly, so the neighbours across the courtyard from us could see everything we were doing in there.
Family weekend in Berlin
The place is not new, but well maintained and clean. It has all the necessary pieces in the kitchen corner, including a dish washer, toaster, couple of different coffee makers and such. The location is nice, though not the one booking shows, and not the one I intended to have, but if one is looking for a spot surrounded by coffees and restaurants and still quiet - that would be it. The couch is quite okay for a couple of nights of sleep, which is a rare case, I should say.
1. I planned the location specifically next to a playground that I liked, but apparently booking is showing it wrongly. The actual location is Steinstrasse. The lady, who greeted us, said they already are trying to sort it out with booking with no result, apparently. 2. The bed makes squeaky noise every time a person sleeping there tries to turn, which is not ideal. 3. It would be nice to bring a shower gel there at least, though there was soap. 4. The blankets were very narrow, like maybe 90cm or so, I'm not used to that, to be honest. 5. When I asked through the booking chat, whether there's a parking lot, they told me that there is, on the street for a fee, but that's not true - it's only for residents. So we quickly brought our stuff in and re-parked it to a parking house, which coated us another 100 euros for 3 nights. Generally not a problem, but with a child we need to park it somewhere first, bring in the stuff without rush.
Good
Location is fantastic - we went everywhere on foot Quiet at night Anastasija was very helpful
It wasn't two bedrooms, it was one bedroom and a sofa in the living room There is confusion over the address. In the text in booking.com it says Steinstraße but if you click on the map it says Chloriner Straße Limited range of bedding - only quilts (too hot) and no blankets
Very good
This appartment is very comfy, in a nice and quiet area at night. There are everything you need for a short or long stay. Everything is well organised by WhatsApp. I recommend to stay there! You can walk around easily and use transportation
Good
Great location Bright room
Our key got stuck in the door. The host expected us to wait there and call a locksmith.
Exceptional
Very spacious. Good communication via WhatsApp for check in. It was helpful to have a kitchen and dining space. Good location for purposes of our stay. Enjoyed breakfast from ACID Mitte and there's a small Rewe very close also. Would like to share for other families that there is a small park nearby on Mulackstraße (not marked on map).
No parking on streets nearby. We managed to find a space to use briefly around the corner for dropping off bags. Check in host recommended a big parking garage 20 min walk away. Appreciated the recommendation but we chose to use somewhere smaller but closer called ampido Parkplatz on Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße, which we booked and paid for online after checking space availability - 10 min walk away. Still a little inconvenient with 2 young children after a long day of travelling but worked out ok in the end.
Nice place to stay.
Very close to the Museum Island. A lot of shops, cafes are nearby. Also a good bakery. Heating (regulated) worked in May- it was perfect as the weather was +16 during the day and +6 at night. Very cute and nice flat.
