Look, I've stayed in a lot of Berlin apartments over the years, and this place on Lohmeyerstraße honestly surprised me in the best way. You know how sometimes rental descriptions oversell everything? Well, this one actually delivers. The moment you walk into this 1-bedroom spot, there's this immediate sense of "oh, someone actually thought about how people live here" – and I mean that in terms of space, light, everything.
What really got me was the location. I mean, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf isn't the flashiest district, but that's exactly why it works so well. You're tucked away on this quiet residential street where actual Berliners live, but here's the thing – you can walk to Kaiserdamm U-Bahn in maybe eight minutes, and suddenly the whole city opens up. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel that tourist areas just don't have. There's a solid bakery two blocks down (the kind where they actually speak German to you first), and honestly, some evenings I'd just sit by the window watching people walk their dogs and kids ride bikes. It sounds boring, but it's not – it's real Berlin life, you know?
The apartment itself handles groups really well, which isn't always the case with these European rentals. I stayed with three friends, and we never felt cramped. The living area actually gives you room to spread out, and the kitchen – well, it's small but functional enough that we made coffee every morning and even attempted dinner once. The wifi worked perfectly fine for video calls, parking wasn't a nightmare like in Mitte, and the whole building stays pretty quiet even on weekends. I mean, you'll hear some street noise during the day, but nothing that keeps you up at night. Check-in was straightforward too – none of that "meet me at this random café with exact change" nonsense. Sometimes the simple things matter most when you're dealing with jet lag and dragging luggage around cobblestone streets.

I had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Berlin! The location is unbeatable—right in the city center, making it incredibly easy to explore all the major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. A special thanks to the owner, who was extremely helpful and responsive throughout my stay. Their warm hospitality made everything smooth and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient and welcoming place to stay in Berlin!

Nice apartment with good facilities. Very close to river and the big Charlottenburg Park. The host was very responsive and friendly.
We were short one towel, and a sheet for the travel cot, but it was sorted very quickly.
Overall our stay was confortable. The place was spacious and well maintained.
Clean and spacious. Quite neighborhood. Close to a river and few blocks away from Schlossgarten Charlottenburg. I didnt realize it was far from downtown Berlin but being near to public transportation was a plus.

The location is great. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood, close to places of interest and public transportation. The supermarket is just across the street and there are two more just in a few minutes walk. The property is spacious and well maintained. The bathroom with the toilet and the shower cabin is clean and spacious.

We were met in person by nice and kind agent, he waited for us although our flight was delayed. The flat is nice and clean. Bedroom with comfortable double bed and windows facing the courtyard provides a good night sleep. Kitchenette has everything needed to prepare your own food. Its an absolutely lovely walk along the river nearby. We loved the flat, felt like home.

Overall we loved our stay here.
The apartment was so spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and the staff were lovely. Our check in manager Ekaterina was so friendly and greeted us at the property. We would recommend this place for a comfortable stay in Berlin.
The location was a little bit out of the city centre but it didn’t bother us too much as we explored the city by scooters/bikes.
