A few minor things worth mentioning: the building's older so the elevator is tiny (pack light or be prepared for multiple trips), and while the neighborhood's safe, it's got that authentic Berlin grittiness that some people love and others... well, don't. But honestly, that's part of the charm – you're staying in real Berlin, not some sanitized tourist bubble. For the price point and that 8.7 rating, it makes sense. You're getting genuine local living with the comfort level that lets you actually relax after long days wandering the city.
