Casa Camper Berlin
About
Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect from Casa Camper Berlin when I first walked up – the building itself is pretty understated, which I actually loved after seeing so many flashy hotel facades around the city. But once you step inside, you realize this place gets it. The whole concept is sort of brilliant, actually – they've partnered with the Camper shoe brand (yeah, the Spanish ones), and there's this really relaxed, design-forward vibe that feels authentically Berlin without trying too hard. You know what struck me first? The lobby has this lived-in quality, like someone's really cool apartment rather than a sterile hotel space. There are books scattered around, interesting art pieces, and the staff genuinely seems happy to be there – which, if you've stayed in enough European hotels, you'll know isn't always the case.
The rooms are where Casa Camper really shines though. They've got this clever setup where your bedroom is separate from a little living area across the hall – I mean, it sounds weird on paper, but it actually works brilliantly. You get twice the space to spread out, and honestly, it felt more like having a small apartment than a hotel room. The beds are incredibly comfortable (I'm picky about this stuff), and they've thought through all the little details that matter when you're actually living somewhere for a few days. Free snacks and drinks available 24/7, which saved me more than once when I stumbled in late from exploring Kreuzberg. The bathrooms have these amazing rain showers, and they stock proper toiletries – not the tiny bottles that run out after one use. What I really appreciated was how quiet everything was, even though you're right in the heart of the city. The windows actually block out the street noise, which is no small feat in Berlin.
Location-wise, you're perfectly positioned to explore the real Berlin – not just the tourist bits. You can walk to Museum Island in about fifteen minutes, but you're also close enough to the grittier, more interesting neighborhoods where locals actually hang out. The nearby cafés and restaurants reflect this too – there's this fantastic little bakery just around the corner that does proper German bread, and you're walking distance from some of the city's best galleries and vintage shops. Check-in was refreshingly smooth (they actually seemed prepared for my arrival), and the concierge gave me genuinely useful recommendations rather than just pointing me toward the obvious attractions. With a 9.1 rating, you'd expect Casa Camper to deliver, and it really does – but not in the way most four-star hotels do. It's more subtle than that, more thoughtful. If you want somewhere that captures Berlin's creative spirit without sacrificing comfort, this is your spot.
The concierge service in Berlin can arrange exclusive tours of the Berlin Wall remnants, secure reservations at traditional beer halls, and organize personalized visits to world-class museums and the historic Reichstag building.

Location and facilities were perfect!
Bathroom and the view. Anita was so kind
Great location, multiple restaurants and bars nearby. Shopping and tourist attractions within walking distance. Great connection with rest of the city, since the U-Bahn station is next to the building. The 24/7 lounge is nice, snacks are always available.
Excellent location! We loved the 7th-floor lounge, the staff was incredibly kind, and the room was spacious and thoughtfully designed. The prices were very reasonable, making it a great value overall.
Some free food in the lounge, the lounge with chargers and a nice view, the fact that we could make our own drinks. The shower had exceptionally good water pressure.
Great location, great hotel - excellent value for money. Can recommend the (free) cappuccino from the top floor bar!
Best location, helpful and very nice staff. Execelent shower and very clean room. The lounge floor was great to start the morning with or have coffee/tea time whenever we wanted. We prefered to have our breakfast outside as there were so many options.
Beautiful design of rooms. Very quiet. Very comfortable beds. Wonderful staff. Exceptional shared lounge on the top floor with free fruit, tea coffee, croissants and muesli
Great lounge on the 7th floor!!! Staff is amazing and perfect location.
