Goldmarie GmbH
About
You know what? Goldmarie GmbH isn't going to blow you away with luxury, but there's something refreshingly straightforward about this 3-star spot that I actually appreciate. When I first walked in, I wasn't expecting much – honestly, the name threw me off a bit – but the place has this unpretentious, lived-in feel that grows on you. The lobby's got that classic German efficiency vibe going on, clean lines and no unnecessary frills, which pretty much sets the tone for your whole stay.
The rooms are what you'd expect for a solid mid-range hotel – nothing fancy, but everything works properly, which is more than I can say for some supposedly "boutique" places I've stayed at. The beds are actually quite comfortable (I'm picky about mattresses), and the bathrooms are spotless, though don't expect a rainfall shower or anything like that. What I really liked was how quiet it gets at night – you can tell they put some thought into soundproofing, which is crucial if you're a light sleeper like me. The heating works well too, something you definitely want to know about when you're planning a trip here during the colder months.
I mean, look, a 7.1 rating tells you this isn't the Ritz, but it's honest accommodation that does exactly what it promises. The staff seems genuinely helpful rather than just going through the motions – when I had questions about getting around the area, they actually knew useful shortcuts and weren't just reading from some tourist pamphlet. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises with fees or policies, and they even let me store my luggage after checkout without making it feel like a huge favor. It's the kind of place where you sleep well, grab a decent breakfast (nothing spectacular, but real coffee and fresh bread), and head out for the day feeling like you got good value for your money. Perfect if you're more interested in exploring than lounging around your hotel room all day.

Nice place. Very good location.
It was great that I could check in alone, after I came late.
Close to the Warschauer Straße train station. Easy to get to the airport.
The venue was less than 5 minutes away from the Astra Kulturhaus ! Perfect for concert, especially walking home. Next to a lot of food place, also really nice. The staff was really friendly, they let us check in early which we really appreciate ! The bed was comfy and the place was clean ! Definitely good value for money.
Location is definitely nice, especially for those who are coming for concerts. Warm rooms, which is essential when it is getting colder. I loved the bed cover, if only I knew where to buy the same, I would buy for my home.
Great location, friendly staff, big room and good kitchen! Cozy atmosphere.
The property is perfectly located. Close to many bars, cafes, restaurants. Very lively area. It's also close to important Metro and Train stations. The room has a fridge, microwave and an electrical kettle. Although it was in a very busy area my room at the 4th floor was quiet. Good price for the area.
Good location, close to the station.
Nice room, friendly staff, good location
