primeflats – Big family apartment Schöneberg
About
First Impressions
Walking up to primeflats – Big family apartment Schöneberg on Leberstraße, you immediately get the sense this isn't your typical hotel experience. It's tucked into a quiet residential street in Berlin's Schöneberg district, and honestly, that's part of its charm. The building has that classic Berlin character — not flashy, but solid and welcoming. This three-star property feels more like staying at a well-appointed friend's place than a sterile hotel, which I actually found refreshing after so many cookie-cutter accommodations.
The Apartment Experience
The apartment itself is genuinely spacious — and I mean actually big, not just "big for Berlin" standards. You'll find a proper kitchen that's fully equipped, which is a game-changer if you're traveling with family or planning a longer stay. The living area gives everyone space to spread out without stepping on each other's toes, something you really appreciate after a long day of sightseeing. The room setup works well for families, though couples will find plenty of space too (which explains why couples rate this place so highly for romantic getaways).
Location Perks
Here's what I love about Schöneberg — you're in a real Berlin neighborhood, not some touristy bubble. The U-Bahn connections are solid, getting you to Potsdamer Platz or Mitte in about 15 minutes. But you know what's even better? The local scene right around the corner. There's a fantastic Turkish bakery two blocks down that locals actually go to, and the weekly market on Winterfeldtplatz (just a short walk) is where you'll find the best produce and street food. Recent guests have been rating the location at 9.8, and honestly, I get it — it's that sweet spot between authentic and accessible.
Practical Comforts
The apartment comes with all those little things that make a difference when you're settling in for more than just a night or two. The Wi-Fi actually works well (tested it for video calls), and there's enough parking nearby if you're driving, though you really don't need a car in this area. The building is quiet — I mean, you're on a residential street, so no late-night party noise from neighboring hotels. The whole setup just feels more... normal, I guess? Like you can actually live a bit instead of just passing through.
Why Guests Love It
What strikes me most about this place is how it solves the Berlin accommodation puzzle — you get space, location, and value without sacrificing comfort. Families love having room to breathe and a proper kitchen for breakfast (or late-night snacks), while couples appreciate the authentic neighborhood vibe and easy access to both local gems and major attractions. The 7.4 rating reflects exactly what you'd expect — solid, reliable, and genuinely useful for travelers who want more than just a place to sleep. It's not trying to be fancy, but it delivers on the things that actually matter when you're exploring Berlin.

The location is great. Its just 3 min walk to S-bahn. Its great for 6 people as the flat os very big. The only issue we had was with bathroom.
There was a lot more space than we expected from the photos. Most notable was the games room in the basement - it's a shame this wasn't better advertised and decorated - it could be a really good space, especially for families. There were lots of nice touches such as the coffee machine, and the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) were all very comfortable. Definitely excellent value for money and much better than we expected based on what we paid. It was very easy to get to to and to gain access once we were there.
The location of the apartment near S-Bahn is perfect. We were happy it was warm when we arrived.
Big and spacious. Great location with plenty of amenities (train station, cafes, supermarkets etc) within minutes, walking distance. Carpark plentiful but you need to find it.
Very spacious
Everything- was very big
The apartment is quite large & nearby a suburban train station, which makes it easy to reach the center. It would in principle be great for friends visiting the city. Kitchen is well-equipped.
