The Mierendorf VH rechts, 2 rooms up to 4 people
About
You know what caught me off guard about The Mierendorf VH? It's actually way more spacious than you'd expect for what's essentially a residential-style setup. I mean, when you hear "2 rooms up to 4 people," you're probably picturing some cramped arrangement, but honestly, this place feels more like crashing at a friend's well-appointed apartment than staying in a typical hotel.
The whole vibe is refreshingly low-key - none of that sterile hotel lobby nonsense. You're basically walking into someone's building (hence the "rechts" in the name, which just means "right" if you're wondering about the German), and there's something oddly comforting about that. The check-in process is pretty straightforward, though I'd recommend confirming the exact procedure beforehand since it's not your standard front-desk situation. What really sold me was how quiet it gets at night - you're in a proper residential area, so once evening hits, it's just... peaceful. No slamming elevator doors or people stumbling through hallways at 2 AM.
The rooms themselves are actually quite thoughtfully laid out. There's enough space that four people won't be stepping on each other constantly, and the setup works whether you're traveling with friends or family. I particularly appreciated the little details - proper storage space (revolutionary concept, I know), decent lighting for actually reading, and windows that open properly for fresh air. The 3-star rating is pretty accurate; it's not luxury by any stretch, but everything works as it should, and honestly, that's sometimes more valuable than fancy amenities you'll never use. The 7.7 rating makes sense too - it's solidly good without being spectacular, which in my experience often means you're getting genuine value without paying for Instagram-worthy touches you don't need.
What I'd tell anyone considering this place is that it's perfect if you want to feel less like a tourist and more like a temporary local. You're not in the thick of tourist central, which means you'll probably end up discovering neighborhood spots that aren't in every guidebook. Just be prepared for a more independent experience - this isn't the kind of place where someone's going to hold your hand through every detail, but if you're comfortable figuring things out as you go, you'll probably love the authentic feel of it all.

The host has thought about all the minor details including Netflix on the tv which was a good surprise. The location is really good as this is really close to Charlottenburg park and U-bahn to go to the city center. The parking situation is bad there but the host has already communicated about this.
The place is very cosy and impeccably clean. I stayed with my family, and it was just right for the three of us. The staff were exceptionally responsive and helpful, making our stay very pleasant.
Nicely renovated. Good location in the city. closed to cafes/restaurants/supermarkets. free street parking.
Bit outside location, but still very convenient Liked the two separate rooms, one in basement one on ground floor Pet friendly is a big plus Well equipped with all necessary ammenities
Location was quite central as you have 5-7 minute walk to the Mierendoffplatz U7 stop that could easily take you to any location of Berlin with some changes to other lines later. Also close by is REWE and some nice lunch and dinner places. Downstairs bed is very comfy and will ensure a good night sleep.
It's location (close to where my son lives). Relatively close to the public transport network. The kitchen was well stocked with cups, plates, cutlery, etc. The accommodation has plenty of room and it is nice that it is on 2 floors. It was useful to have a washing machine and dishwasher.
The apartment was newly renovated. Everything still had that fresh from IKEA smell. Very comfortable. The basement bedroom stayed nice and cool during the hot days.
I would especially like to thank Caroline and the Great Stay team who welcomed us. I had a trouble-free stay, it can be preferred with peace of mind.
Nice Apartment
It's location, the welcoming by Iljie and also the check out was very smooth. The apartment is centrally located and only 3km from the Messe Berlin where I was attending an exhibition. Also some nice restaurants and shops within walking distance
